I have left my job at Farmdrop and am pleased to announce that I will be starting at Sofar Sounds in a couple of weeks time.

I have had a bit of time off to relax and to focus on some personal coding projects which has been fun. One of my biggest bugbears is that there isn't a really great starter kit available for integrating Webpack and Rails applications using docker-compose / docker, or at least I hadn't been able to find a project which composed the application in the way that I wanted.

So I spent a little time learning the ins and outs of docker-compose, having been fairly familiar with Docker already. I ran into a few issues with named `volumes` and the VM directories masking the host machine's copy of that directory, but eventually I got to a happy place. So without further ado, I present to you my Docker Compose / React / Rails 5 API boilerplate project:

Check it out and have a play around. Instructions are included in the READ ME on Github.
